Our Mountain Dog Soap is a 100% natural Handmade dog soap for bathing your dog. We created our dog soap for our first Golden Retriever Rescue, Ruby, because we wanted a gentle soap to bathe her with, as well as ourselves, since we always seemed to get as wet as she did! :-)

Our Mountain Dog Shampoo Soap is handmade with olive, coconut, palm and castor oils (our base human recipe), as well as about 30% lard, which contributes terrific coat conditioning to the bar, leaving your dirty dog's coat silky and shining. We lightly scent Mountain Dog Soap with Peppermint, Lemongrass and Tea Tree essential oils to discourage any skin or winged creatures from visiting too long in the fur.

There are NO artificial or synthetic ingredients in this soap. And because there are no artificial latherers like we are all used to in shampoos, *YOU* are the one who needs to provide the elbow grease. Work up the lather in your Hands for 15 seconds before applying to a VERY WET DOG, and this soap will lather like nobody's business. Best of all, it rinses out quickly and easily even when used on very thick dog coats.

"I bought seven bars of soap from you today, came home and tossed the bag on my bed. Several hours later my dog, Blue, was walking through the family room with something in his mouth. I thought it was part of his dog bone, but upon inspection I saw that it was a bar of soap. I took it back to the bedroom to discover all of the soap on the floor in various stages of disarray. It appears that Blue tasted them all and preferred the oatmeal. There were big teeth and bite marks on that one. My question is: should I have any concern about Blue eating a few bites of oatmeal soap and nibbles of other bars? It was a great afternoon of animals and soap.
